Taking her overseas tour to Brazil, Miley Cyrus was quite the busy lady while bringing an end to the week in Rio de Janeiro on Friday (May 13).

The "Last Song" starlet kicked things off with a photocall set on the balcony of Copacabana Palace Hotel - during which she warmly waved to a crowd of gathered fans and media members situated outside.

Once finished up, the former Disney darling headed over to HSBC Arena to perform a concert as part of her Gypsy Heart tour - during which she energetically delivered songs including "The Climb" and "Who Owns My Heart," as well as covers of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "I Love Rock'n Roll/Cherry Bomb/Bad Reputation".

During the little bit of free time she was able to muster up, Miss Cyrus was busy spending each and every moment with her mom, Tish Cyrus, who happened to be celebrating her birthday.

Of her mother's special day, Miley tweeted, "Had the best time w/ @tishcyrus1 tonight =] Happy B-day mama T! You really are the best! =]]]]"

Keeping her acting abilities in tip-top shape, Ashley Tisdale closed out the week with theater classes in Studio City on Friday (May 13).

The "High School Musical" hottie sported some of the summer's trendiest pieces, wearing an orange crop top, black and white skirt and gray ankle-length cowboy boots.

Meanwhile, the always-charitable Ashley is getting into the giving spirit once again - as she donated an outfit from "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" to benefit Skip1.org, which helps to bring food and clean drinking water to children and families in need.

Miss Tisdale took to her Twitter to gush about the awesome giveaway, writing, "Hey guys!! Super exciting news. Go check out skip1.org. You may end up winning one of Sharpay’s outfits : ).”

Bringing their sure-to-be-blockbuster movie to the French Riviera, Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz were center stage for the "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" premiere during the 64th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Saturday (May 14).

The undeniably attractive pair both looked fabulous as they took to the Palais des Festivals venue while joining up with co-stars Geoffrey Rush, Sam Claflin, Ian McShane and Astrid Berges-Frisbey.

With stars such as Robert DeNiro, Jude Law, Uma Thurman and Karolina Kurkova all turning up for the red carpet extravaganza, Depp and Cruz worked the crowd after having partaken in a photocall and press conference for their movie earlier in the day.

During the Q&A, Penelope was asked what was it like working with such a talented cast, to which she replied, "I felt very very lucky, it was a privilege to spend time with them and to share scenes with them. I had worked with Johnny 12 years ago, and it was about time that someone put us together again. I have so much respect for him, he is so free and so inspiring. He's really a very unique human being, a very unique artist, and it is an honor just to be around him. He is very inspiring in every single way, so I hope that we get to work together many more times."

Johnny was then questioned about what the experience was like to be back working with Penelope after such a long time, of which he answered, "The opportunity to go back and work with Penelope on any film would have been a gift - a sublime gift - because she is such a talent... So smart, so funny, so talented.

Beyond that she is an amazing person, she is a great friend and a very very loyal friend. In the context of the work, when you get into the ring with her, whatever you throw out, she is going to grab and throw back then she'll throw a few things herself that really keep you on your toes. She's a real talent and I would do more films with her if she would let me."

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is set to take over theaters next Friday, with the release date set for May 20th.

Never one to disappoint when it comes to outlandish wardrobes and peculiar behavior, Lady Gaga kept to the norm as she exited her hotel in London, England on Saturday (May 14).

Clad in a long gold jacket with a see-through suit underneath and her penchant nipple pasties, the "Judas" songstress greeted a gathered crowd of fans by passing out biscuits and tossing flowers as a sign of appreciation.

Set to perform a show in Carlisle tomorrow, Gaga is fresh off of an appearance on the popular Graham Norton Show - during which she spoke about how fashion can make one look silly if they happen to stumble due to over-the-top ensembles.

Bringing up an unfortunate moment in which she experienced while traveling through Heathrow Airport last year, the 25-year-old told, “I had these really big shoes and I was so excited. I was on the plane and saying ‘oh I can't wait to show off my shoes.’ They are from Japan. They are custom."

Not going as planned, Gaga continued, "They were like fifty feet tall. I couldn't wait. I took three steps and I **** fell so far. And all the cameras were on me and I was thinking London is going to think I am a wasted mess.”

Making the most of her time overseas, Vanessa Hudgens kept up with her busy schedule as she arrived for the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival happenings in Cannes, France on Saturday (May 14).

The 22-year-old actress was looking cute and casual in a light, speckled babydoll frock as she was helped out of a chauffeured ride to join in on the fourth day doings at the annual cinema celebration in the French Riviera.

During her time overseas, Miss Hudgens took a moment to speak with the Belfast Telegraph - during which time she revealed her aspirations when it comes to future film roles.

She dished, "I’m not content doing the same thing. I think all actors… no one’s content doing the same thing. You’re always broadening your horizons and exploring your limits. That’s what’s so much fun… I don’t want to do the same thing twice."

The adorable young star added, "I want to continue to grow because I’m just beginning. I feel very fortunate and very, very lucky and blessed. I’m very happy with where I’m at. But of course there is so much more that I want to tackle. That unrest is what will always keep us going… there’s no content; you’re always striving to do better. That’s what makes us creative people."

Following a fun-filled night on the town with boyfriend Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian was back in work mode with a fragrance launch event in Aventura, Florida on Saturday afternoon (May 14).

The E! reality hottie was in quite the energetic mood as she playfully interacted with a lineup of anxiously awaiting fans during the meet and greet held at the local Macy's department store.

Once finished up with the perfume promotional efforts, Kim joyously tweeted, “Thanks to everyone who came out to Macy’s today! I swear Miami fans are on another level! I love u guys so much!!!”

From there, the brunette beauty headed off to check in on her family's retail shop in the sunshine state, as she wrote, "Just popped into @DASHMiami!!! The store looks amazing!!!! LOVE U DASH DOLLS!"
